The virtual meeting with DJ Jeff went smoothly, and the shared Google Doc that Second Song provided to track the event details was intuitive and easy to use. Rob and his team helped us make custom cuts of our ceremony music at no additional cost. We also booked our uplights through their team, and they were beautiful. Not only could you select the color, but the lights could also be programmed to cycle through colors for more of a party vibe. I could not recommend DJ Jeff Collins more highly. He was professional and on time, and most importantly, had incredible energy. He hit all of our requests for the evening, both for the dinner portion of the night and the dance party afterwards. He worked seamlessly with our planner and made all of the right announcements at the right time, and a large part of the evening's success was due to his energy and enthusiasm. “I used Summit Events Co. for my December '24 wedding and could not recommend them more! DJ Ben was SO fun and really kept the party alive. He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

Thanks to their Venue Match service, we found our dream spot—the Prospect Park Boathouse. It was exactly what we envisioned: beautiful, intimate, and full of charm. Mostest made the process so easy by narrowing down options based on our style and budget, which saved us hours of research and back-and-forth on quotes. My favorite part of the service was contract review, where they breakdown each line of the contract so nothing surprised us. We also used their Day-of Coordination, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when they recommended a Junior Coordinator too. Our wedding had two locations—ceremony and reception—and having a point person at each site was a total game-changer, so I'm glad they guided us. It meant everything ran smoothly, and I didn’t get bombarded with questions or last-minute details. The Junior Coordinator handled all the logistics at the ceremony while the lead coordinator managed things at the reception. If your budget allows it, splurge for this add on for sure. We worked with The Hook Club on an ambitious two-day wedding, which included them doing live sound for our Friday welcome party, live sound for the music at our ceremony, some deep cut requests, and our desire to not just have "another wedding band." What we got was an incredibly talented, creative, and kind group of people who were ready to make whatever we wanted happen, ready to add ideas and layers, and who then completely blew away our expectations. We're in that era of our lives where we've been to about 100 weddings in the last 10 years, and we can honestly say that no band has even come close to The Hook Club. A year later everyone is still talking about how great our band was. “I ordered the silk magnolia bouquet (Shelbie Bridal Bouquet - Hand tied) and opted for the scent to be added. They arrived and already looked perfect with very minimal fluffing/adjustment. I was nervous the scent would be strong or too artificial but it was light and natural. They photographed beautifully and let me have a taste of home with the magnolias all the way across the country. Gorgeous.”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

“Misha is the most creative, talented and kind human ever! It was an absolute joy working with Misha. I am so so grateful we found her both because her florals were beyond stunning and because she took such good care of us! In terms of floral design- Misha is nothing short of a creative genius. This is not an exaggeration. I’m truly stunned by how incredibly unique each of her weddings are. She took the time to really get to know us and figure out exactly what we wanted- even what we didn’t even know we wanted. I gave her minimal direction and was completely stunned by how she managed to produce even more than what I could have imagined. I wanted something bright, colorful and unique with lots of personality and life. She provided the most beautiful, colorful and lush florals I’ve ever seen. Also, I am pretty sure that Misha provided even more florals than I paid for just out of her own kindness and generosity. There were so many unique flowers and every stem seemed intentionally hand-selected and placed. We got SO many compliments on our florals! Now onto Misha herself - it’s such a gift that such a talented person also happens to be one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Misha is a trained social worker and it shows. Misha doesn’t just provide a service, she nurtures relationships. She was very understanding and respectful about working within our budget - these conversations never felt awkward with Misha. She is also so thorough and on top of it- you will be getting updates, regular check-in calls - she makes you feel like you have her full attention and energy even though she has tons of clients and weddings! You are not just paying for one day of flowers (even though they themselves would be worth it!) - you are getting endless hours of her time, creativity, design work and collaboration. Working with Misha was the best decision we made when it came to our wedding and I could not recommend her more highly.
